Uva Bobal

The Bobal grape is a variety of burgundy wine grape coming from La Manchuela and the shire of Requena-Urtel.
This variety is cultivated and its mainly used in the region of La Comunidad Valenciana, although it is also authorized in other regions such as, Castilla-La Mancha, Aragón, Extremadura and Navarra.
The wines elaborated with Bobal grape are characteristic by having a substantially intense cherry-red color, being highly fruity and acid, besides having a low proof.
