The Cabernet Franc wine grape is a variety of burgundy red wine grape that comes from the region of Bourdeaux (France). One of the most well-known wine grapes on earth, being the father of other of the mostly known wine grapes
in the world, the Cabernet Sauvignon.
Most of its vineyards are located in the Loire Valley and the regon of Loire Chinon.
In Spain this grape its reccomended in Cataluña, being one of the authorized varieties in D.O. Cataluña, D.O. Conca Barberá, D.O. Pederés and D.O. Terra Alta.
