The Malvasía is one of the main varieties of the D.O. Penedés and D.O. Calatayud.
The wines elaborated with Malvasía grape are characteristic for being white, sweet and aromatic mostly, even though there are also some red wines aswell, besides, they posses strong aromas and a high proof.
